Modeled after the famous instrument made by Guarneri del Gesú and played by the legendary violinist Émilie Sauret, and Itzhak Perlman, Sheridan's replica is a delight to play.
This violin has a very deep and sweet tone, solid projection with a clean and excellent response. The violin has a beautiful deep brown color and the custom label of a cat playing a violin (maybe it's a giant cat playing a bass?) provide a lot of individuality and personality to this instrument.
Martin Sheridan is a gifted luthier from Fort Madison, Iowa, making violins, violas, cellos, double basses, and guitars.
