Modeled after the famous instrument made in 1742 by Guarneri del Gesú and named for it's first recorded owner, "Lord Wilton" Sheridan's 2021 replica relflects the physical and tonal characteristics of the original.
This violin has a wonderfully warm and deep tone throughout, solid projection with a clean and excellent response. It's equally suited for classical or fiddle music, as it responds effortlessly to the players intentions.
After some time spent in Mexico, double bass luthier Martin Sheridan has relocated to Fort Madison, Iowa where he makes and repairs violins, violas, cellos, double basses, and guitars.
