The Tower Strings Electric Pro violin comes with a built-in pre-amp and pickup! The violin also comes with built-in volume and tone control. The Active Pickup is powered by a 9v battery on board (included). This sends a cleaner and more powerful signal when compared to passive pickups. 

Simply switch it on and plug in the headphones (earbuds included) or directly to an amplifier - nothing else is needed! The set up, accessories, and build is far above anything we have tested in this price range! The violin will arrive ready to play out of the box.
