Having to replace dead strings
While appreciate them being replaced, it is disappointing to receive a bad string in a set of other wise good strings, and inconvenient when playing and teaching on regular basis. Different name brands. The last being the A string in the Peter Infeld set. The other three strings are absolutely brilliant and I highly recommend them. Once a good Enfield is sent as a replacement or I am forced to buy one again ($34), I very much lok forward to having that vibrant sound on the A string as well.. For now, I replaced it with a used Zulex A string (big difference in action response and sound) while waiting to get the Infeld replaced.
