The stick is crafted from one of nature’s most renewable resources, Bamboo, and is fitted with a Sonowood frog and a Goat Leather thumb grip.

The bow reaches its optimal playing tension when it grips the strings while still providing flexibility and fullness of sound. This will not occur if the tension is exceeded. Musicians should experiment with using as little tension as possible to achieve these qualities.

General maintenance is the same as for a traditional bow, including but not limited to straightening and polishing.
