The mf | solo Violin (formally known as 'Premium Line') begins in the same Werther, Germany workshop as the mf | core. Built with the same vacuum-infused carbon fiber, precision engineering, and hand-finished lacquer, the distinction lies in master-level acoustic selection.

Every completed body is individually play-tested before final assembly. Only about 5% of instruments exhibit the rare qualities required for the solo label: superior response, effortless projection, and an acoustic headroom that stays rich. Because these exceptional bodies cannot be manufactured on demand, the mf | solo exists as a dedicated limited line.

On stage, the difference is immediate. The projection is effortless, formulated to fill large halls without forcing tone. The E string remains warm, round, and resonant in high positions without thinning out. Its impressive dynamic range rewards nuanced bow work with immediate feedback.

Carbon fiber brings its usual advantage with it. Humidity and temperature do not move the instrument, so a violin that works on the day of an audition works the same way on the day of the concert.
