The mf | pure Hybrid Violin (formerly known as 'Evo Line') combines mezzo-forte’s raw carbon fiber acoustic violin with an integrated Cordasonus pickup system, factory-installed during manufacturing in Werther, Germany.

Laid up by hand and cured by vacuum infusion, the raw carbon fiber body is polished to a dark anthracite finish that keeps the full weave visible across its surface. Completely immune to heat, cold, and humidity, it holds its setup through long travel days, so a violin that sits in a van for three hours plays on stage exactly as it did that morning.

Developed in-house by mezzo-forte, the passive, battery-free Cordasonus system features a specialized German ceramic crystal. Mounted directly in the bridge, the sensor measures string pressure at the vibration source, delivering an ultra-wide 10 Hz–80 kHz frequency range with high feedback resistance on loud stages.

The sensor can be rotated in 45-degree steps. Each position gives the signal a different character, from focused and direct to broad and open, and the change is made by hand on the instrument in a few seconds. Connection is a standard 1/4" jack. 

Built as a violin first, the factory installation preserves the instrument's pure acoustic voice while offering an instant signal path when amplification is needed.
