mezzo-forte core Violin
The mf | core violin (formerly known as 'Design Line') is the mezzo-forte with the widest range of use. It combines the acoustic and structural properties of carbon fiber, with a surface finished entirely by hand.
The body is formed by vacuum infusion. Then, there are two complete lacquer cycles, each one checked individually. Such effort is what brings out the shifting carbon fiber pattern the company is known for, with a depth that changes with the light.
The tone is bright, carrying, and responsive across every register. Response is light and direct, and the instrument gives immediate feedback on every nuance of the bow. In the high positions on the E string, it has a brilliance that carries in an ensemble. Everything from whispered pianissimo to full fortissimo comes across without saturating.
Carbon fiber does not react to humidity or temperature the way wood does. A violin that goes from a heated car into a cold church and back stays where the player left it.
