About the maker
Leopold grew up surrounded by music, immersing himself in playing various instruments. His love of music and passion for hands-on craftsmanship led him into woodworking, and he made his own instruments by the age of 14. Leopold earned an engineering degree in woodworking, and later fused his two passions by joining the esteemed French school of violin making in Mirecourt in 2016.
After three years of rigorous training, Leopold had the privilege of working for five years under the expert guidance of Charles Coquet at his prestigious Paris workshop, where he learned the art of crafting instruments that meet the exacting standards of discerning musicians worldwide.
Originally from the Rhône-Alpes region, he works as a luthier in Grenoble, France, and Nassau Bahamas.
