This instrument has an outstanding direct, powerful and warm tone, nimble response with great playability, and a commanding presence.

- Back: One-piece back with narrow grain, larger on the bass side, uniform flames and rich medullary rays.
- Top: Two pieces of narrow grain spruce, wider on edges.
- Fittings: Ebony
- Strings: Larsen "Virtuoso" Strings.
- Varnish: Medium Brown over orange hues, with moderate antiquing and patinated.
