The Fiddlershop Family

Why is Fiddlershop growing so fast and blowing away its competitors?
Fiddlerman himself tests and curates the violins and works directly with the maker to produce only the best. With over 40 years as a professional player of orchestras around the world, he knows what he's doing. We buy our violins directly from the maker - a rare business practice that lowers our cost so we can pass the savings on to you! Each Fiddlerman violin is set up in our workshop.

First Fiddle

We love our new fiddle!!! My daughter took the violin to her teacher for her first lesson and he loved it. He wanted us to change the strings, just his preference, so we did and the guy at the shop came out and told us what an awesome instrument it was. The teacher said the bow was nicer than his bow and he plays professionally. We are very pleased and my daughter is over the moon.

I love playing this violin

I've only been learning to play violin for a year. Started on an inexpensive violin I picked up from Amazon and 4 months into it it became apparent that I was committed and passionate enough that I needed to invest in a better instrument if I were to really enjoy learning and remain committed. After substantial analysis, I chose the Artist because I wanted a quality instrument from a reputable seller that I could grow into. I didn't want to find myself upgrading again for a few years. The violin and the accessories, including the case, are all quality. The carbon fiber bow is an incredible value. Regarding the bow, I borrowed three previously owned pernambuco bows that cost $150, $200 and $300 from my local luthier on a trial basis thinking that I would replace the Fiddlerman carbon fiber bow. I played all three for a week and returned them as they did not represent a noticeable improvement over the carbon fiber bow.

I upgraded to this from my Mendini Mv500. I'm absolutely in love with my new Artist violin. It's got a beautiful warm sound and plays very easily. I highly recommend this for an upgrade from the basic student model violins. You won't believe your ears!

Love it!

Two words... great violin! The Artist violin is my fourth violin. Over the last couple of months I have personally reviewed around twenty violins, some two to three times more expensive, many top brand names. Besides looking at the violins at my local shops I have scoured the internet for reviews. I was hesitant to order an instrument online but the Fiddlerman product review videos caught my eye. The videos allowed me to hear the sound of multiple instruments within the same brand. I found not only consistency but also quality. Now that I have one I can say, first hand, that the Artist violin sounds as good and even better then many of them I reviewed. The flamed back and ribs along with the antiqued finish looks amazing. The ebony pegs, fingerboard and chin rest along with the inlaid purfling are simple quality. I believe that the Fiddlerman only puts his name on quality products. The next violin I want to personnel try is the Fiddlerman Master Violin! Regardless... for me... the Artist Violin is a keeper! Brad

I started learning

I started learning violin since 2 years ago, my first violin was a Cecilio Mendini mv300 This is a good one). Some months ago I wanted to upgrade to a new one but here in Colombia, I didn't find a violin that met my expectations. Then, after watch videos in and, I liked so much the fiddlerman artist violin. I bought the violin and when the fiddle arrived my home wow it was so beautiful and the sound is excellent. Thank you for all and the customer service is excellent. Good job.
