These extra tall chinrests were designed to give violinists and violists the most comfortable playing experience possible, and specifically meet the needs of players with taller necks.
The Teka model is a side mounted chinrest that attaches to the instrument with the usual chin rest key (or paper clip if necessary). No special tools are required.
The scoop of the chinrest is very comfortable and elegant, and the extra tall version meets players where they are at. No more clinching. No more lifting shoulders.
