I love then

Amazing. I am a new violin player. I started with Prelude strings. Which were just loud. But clearly were good strings. Then I wanted softer and I bought Pro'Arte. Which I had to get used to. They felt off but I did get used to them. But with the Eudoxa string set. I feel like I am home. The sound is beautiful. I have no problem carving notes from them. I feel like they sing. I am in love. They feel wonderful to my hand. I am so excited to play all the time now. Thank you for your service!

Fun experience… might become habit forming

These strings turned my 1920-ish, garish sounding (probably Mittenwald) fiddle into a purring ***** cat under my ear. True that gut core strings require a ton of tuning and re-tuning but that seems, with these Eudoxas, to apply mostly to the first week - 10 days. After that, they are much more stable than I had feared; so much so that I will be getting a set for the violin I use in my community orchestra when rehearsals resume! As a reference, I’ve tried Obligatos, Warchal Timbres / Ambers and Brilliants, and EP Green and Golds. The Eudoxas are a horse of a different color. With the stiff G and D strings, they are familiar enough feel-wise. I say this in comparison to a lovely set of pure gut (unwound) strings which suited neither my technique nor my instruments. Final comment… I love the sound under my ear so much that I don’t feel I need a musician’s earplug in my left ear when practicing !

Best strings I've had!

I've been playing for a few years now and have tried all kinds of strings in search of that tone that felt just right for me. These are hands down my favorite so far. They aren't too tinny or overly bright, the tone is really balanced and easy on the ear. Plan on using them going forward!
