The name "Eduard Reichart" is a trade name for German made instruments which were made for the commercial export business of the day.
The sound of this violin is very well balanced, with a strong and robust lower register, a reliable middle register, and a sweet upper register. The instrument has also had the Wittner fine tuner geared pegs installed, so tuning is extremely easy.
This instrument has a moderate amount of a wear and tear, please view the close up photos for a more accurate representation.
