Single string cello

I was a little upset with my self. I .use have not read the item description well enough. For some reason I thought I was buying a practice set of strings only to find out it was a single string. I AM TRYING Toget my 80 yo Mother interested in playing this bargain cello I found on CL. Never realized the expenses associated with playing a cello. It looks like a bad direction.
