About the Maker

Brooke Esplin

Brooke discovered a talent for woodworking through high school shop classes in her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. Through a friend she met a local violin maker, Jody Summerford, who became a mentor and helped her to apply to the Violin Making & Repair program at the North Bennet Street School in Boston. After graduating in 2019 she worked in shops in the northeast while continuing to make instruments at home. In 2023, Brooke joined us here at Fiddlershop, and we are grateful to have her on the team.
