The Berber Style Chinrest is a very comfortable option for violinists.
It is a center mounted, and accommodates various chin/jaw positions.

Friends ! Actually the experience with this product was not very good because the metal base of it was not of good quality and also the chin was very high, I am very sorry that I could not enjoy this chinrest since I like this model very much to touch ! I recently purchased a old violin that was languishing in the corner of a guitar shop. She had a really old chin rest on it that had crunched her ribs and caused saddle cracks that needed to be repaired. I use a stuber on my newer violin but the luthier suggested I use a center-mount. I tried a Flesch before but I don’t like having my chin on the tailpiece. I found the Berber to be pretty comfortable, center mount but with my chin to the side, the best of both worlds.
Nice over the tailpiece chinrest.
I am just learning the fiddle. My old chin rest was very uncomfortable and hard for me to hold the violin and be able to play. The berber model is SO much better and now I can practice twice as long. I'm very happy with this product.
I wanted to like this chinrest, but it couldn't clear the tailpiece on any of my fiddles (all different tailpieces and setups). Keep that in mind when trying it.
