Cello Sizing Guide

If you have a cello to try, sit at the end of the chair with your feet flat on the floor. Lean the cello at a 45 degree angle against your body. Extend the endpin so that the top of the cello body rests in the center of your chest. The C peg should be slightly behind your left ear. Make sure you can reach both ends of the fingerboard easily. If you don't have an instrument already, see this chart for approximate sizing by age and height.

What does B-stock mean?

Every now and then we receive an instrument from our workshop with a visual imperfection. The instrument might have smaller nicks, scratches, or a discoloration in the varnish. Some cellos might even have a small crack, that has been repaired. These visual issues do not affect the performance or playability of the instrument. However, we would never put these instruments into our regular inventory.

Just like every other Fiddlerman instrument we sell, this instrument is set up by our talented luthiers and is covered by our warranties.

We have a limited stock of these instruments. Every instrument has a different imperfection.

The Entertainer is our answer to a starter cello that anyone can afford. We were never happy with what the market offered in this price range, so we are raising the bar on quality to a whole new level. The set up and quality of craftsmanship is far beyond anything we have tested in this price range! The cello will arrive ready to play out of the box, with all the accessories necessary to get started.
