What does B-stock mean?

Every now and then we receive an instrument from our workshop with a visual imperfection. The instrument might have smaller nicks, scratches, or a discoloration in the varnish. Some cellos might even have a small crack, that has been repaired. These visual issues do not affect the performance or playability of the instrument. However, we would never put these instruments into our regular inventory.

Just like every other Fiddlerman instrument we sell, this instrument is set up by our talented luthiers and is covered by our warranties.

It's a beautifully handcrafted cello constructed from select spruce and flamed maple that has been dried for a minimum of 12 years. The Soloist cello is the perfect choice for the advanced cellist, and provides a broader range of tone colors and dynamics, and has a faster response than other models in its price class. This cello outperforms anything we've seen in the $3,000 price range and comes with a matching outfit containing a hard fiberglass case and a Fiddlerman Carbon Fiber Cello Bow.

Fiddlerman’s line of cellos is gaining more and more traction among aspiring cellists in America and around the world. Just like every Fiddlerman violin and viola, these instruments are handcrafted in Fiddlerman's exclusive workshop and set up in Fiddlershop’s Florida workshop. All Fiddlerman cellos undergo the famous setup process and are carefully tested before they are shipped out. These cellos also come with a lifetime structural warranty!

The Fiddlerman Soloist Cello is normally set up with D'Addario Helicore strings, but the strings might vary depending on the characteristics of the individual instrument.
