Warm and direct, focused and deep. This bench made violin from the Ukrainian violin maker Taras Andrash is a beautiful instrument by every measure.
Andrash studied at the Cremonese school of violin making, and is currently located in Galicia Sambir, Ukraine. This is the first instrument from him that we've had the pleasure to feature in our shop.
Wood: Straight grained spruce top, deep-figured maple sides and back.
Varnish: Modern Italian, Oil Based with Alcohol. Light brown color with yellow reflections. Gentle antiquing
Fittings: Rosewood pegs, tailpiece, custom made chinrest
Strings: Thomastik PI Strings
