Light and powerful, agile and rugged, nimble and steady, flexible and tough - the new L-series bows unite qualities that you can normally not find in one bow.

The Müsing L4 is certainly a fantastic bow in the $1,100 price range. Its resonance quality allows you to create really complex musical expressions or just let yourself be enchanted. Of course, it is perfectly suited for playing in any orchestra and will be happy to be your companion on any journey and in any climate zone. Its classy outfit is fairly discreet, but the details are certainly convincing, as is its workmanship and it sits perfectly in the hand.

Compared to the Arcus bows, the L-bows are of similar weight. However, they are more flexible and therefore more forgiving in their playing style, at the expense of a bit less precision and sheer power.

Müsing

German Carbon Craftsmanship

Founded by Bernd Müsing in Würzburg, Germany, Müsing has been researching and refining string bows since 1995. Every Müsing stick is made from three-dimensionally woven carbon fiber, shaped into a thin hollow tube that vibrates freely for a clear, colorful sound. The result is a bow that’s lighter, stronger and completely unaffected by humidity, with the balance and comfort to carry you through long rehearsals and performances. From students to seasoned professionals, players choose Müsing for a bow they can rely on, so they can focus on the music.
