What does B-stock mean?
Every now and then we receive an instrument from our workshop with a visual imperfection. The instrument might have a small nick, scratch or a miss-coloration in the varnish. These visual issues do not affect the performance or playability of the instrument. However, we would never put these instruments into our regular inventory.
Just like every other Fiddlerman instrument we sell, this instrument is set up to perfection by our talented luthiers and is covered by our lifetime structural warranty.
We have a limited stock of these instruments. Every instrument has a different imperfection. Please find attached pictures for examples of these visual flaws.

I had been looking at the Master for a while but didn't quite want to pay full price for it. I saw this and contacted Fidderman for pictures of the dents and scratches. Their reply was super quick and their customer service is amazing! I received the violin in just a few days and when I opened it, I couldn't even tell where the dents were! I was so happy. The violin is gorgeous and even the rosin is beautiful!! I am so happy and would totally recommend this company! Thank you Fiddlerman!
I'm in love!
I am so in love with my new Master Violin Outfit! I'm also not entirely convinced I received a B-Stock violin, as I have yet to identify the what exactly caused it to be classified as B-Stock! I have been searching for a new violin for quite some time now, as I have played my beginner violin (a Menzel student violin, worth about $300 CAD) for ten years and had definitely reached the point where an upgrade was necessary. I checked out several violins at local music shops, but had not found anything I wanted to commit to. Then, I happened to come across Fiddlershop while searching for music one day, and was very impressed by the amazing reviews on all the Fiddlerman violins, as well as the many helpful videos describing and comparing the various instruments (which, by the way, are incredibly useful!). After much consideration, I decided to get the Master violin, and when the opportunity arose to buy a B-stock violin, thus saving me a fair chunk of cash, I wasted no time ordering my new violin. The violin itself is amazing! I absolutely love the warm, yet clear tones, and it really just sings when I play. It is an enormous upgrade from my student violin, despite my student violin sounding quite good as student violins go. Compared to other violins I have tried in the same price range, the Master violin far outranks them in sound quality. Even my non-musical family can tell the difference, and have repeatedly informed me that I have made an excellent investment. As a side note, back when I took lessons my violin teacher had lowered the bridge on my student violin, and so I was somewhat worried that I would find the bridge high on my new violin. This, however, was not the case at all, and I have had no issues with the string height whatsoever. The outfit is also incredibly nice, and well-stocked with everything you need. All told, I am very, very happy with my experience with Fiddlershop, and highly recommend the Master Violin to anyone who may be looking to upgrade!
Fantastic Violin for the price!
Buying from Fiddlerman was super easy, and even though the violin was "only" an $800 violin, the setup and luthier expertise that went in to insuring the violin was correctly done made a world of difference compared to buying a violin of the same price anywhere else. This instrument compares favorable to those costing much more!
Great service & Beautiful Instrument
The Fiddlerman team was friendly and helpful all the way. We received our Master violin intact in a safely wrapped package via DHL international delivery, which played beautifully. Even though there was a small issue with the A string (after playing, the string appeared stretched) and after reaching out to the Fiddlerman team, they promptly despatched a Complimentary replacement A string to us! We are still waiting for the A string to reach us but so far, we are Very happy with our purchase!
This instrument has soul and it wants to sing loud. I noticed the big difference from my Bellafina ML10 on how easy it felt on my left hand. It sings loud through the entire range. It requires a light touch for more somber music. The neck is smooth on the thumb and light touch to get right pitch. The set up feels perfect to me. The flaws on the finish are not things that anyone should notice unless purposefully looking for them especially since they are on the back. I may have a crush on my instrument
