Play instruments side by side and leave the same day with a professionally set up rental.

Swap sizes free at the showroom as you grow. Your rental credit carries over.
Rent to own
Your rent counts toward buying
70% of what you pay in the first year, and 30% each year after, goes toward the retail price of the instrument you rent.
Exclusions may apply. Credit expires three months after an account closes.

Try instruments before you rent
Our showroom and workshop serve Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties, from Fort Lauderdale and Coral Springs to Boca Raton, Miami and West Palm Beach. Every instrument passes through our luthiers’ hands before it goes home with you.

Bring your school’s supply list to our Pompano Beach showroom and we’ll make sure your rental has everything your orchestra director asks for.
Sized by age and grade
Most elementary students start on a 1/4 or 1/2 size violin. Middle schoolers often move to 3/4 or full size.
Free size exchanges
When your child is ready for the next size, swap their rental at our showroom. Your rental credit carries over.

Rental questions
About our String Instrument Rentals
Fiddlershop will apply 70% of the first year’s, and 30% of each subsequent year's monthly rental fees paid (rental credit), towards the retail price of the specific instrument.
If the rented instrument is returned to Fiddlershop and the account is closed, the accumulated rental credit may be applied towards the purchase of a new instrument from Fiddlershop (exclusions may apply). The rental credit expires three (3) months after the rental account is closed and credit from multiple rental accounts may not be combined to purchase a single instrument.
Every Fiddlershop violin/viola rental comes with the following items.

Every Fiddlershop cello rental comes with the following items.
- Cello of Choice (new or lightly used)
- Polyfoam Cello Case
- Cello Bow

- Cleaning Cloth
Basic damage protection is included with all instrument rentals. This covers scuffs, dents, and varnish issues, as well as bridge, peg, and bow breaks. Under the basic damage protection, Fiddlershop will repair or replace the broken part for free.
We can ship the rental for a standard two-way shipping fee of $50. So whenever it's time to return your rental, simply request a return label by contacting Fiddlershop.
You can manage your rental billing by logging into our secure Rental Billing Portal. There, you can update your payment method, view payment history and download invoices.
