About Mezzo-Forte violins:
The Mezzo-Forte design concept is to develop instruments for the 21st Century. Any measurements used in traditional violin making have been transferred in order to help the player feel immediately familiar with the instrument. Therefore switching between wood and Carbon Fiber should not be a problem.
From the beginning to the end, all instruments are made in Mezzo-Forte's workshop in Germany, and they set a high value on quality and making fantastic instruments.
All Mezzo-Forte instruments come with a certificate of authenticity and a unique serial number which makes them easy to identify.

Bought for my Daughter
My daughter is the musician, and I surprised her with the Evo violin. Compared to her seven other violins, this one sounds the best. It’s very powerful as an instrument. I love the black color. She says it is really light. She brings it to work every day to practice on her lunch break. She says that she wishes it was the only violin that she owned.
My M-F Carbon Fiber Evo Line Violin
As an amateur player and hobbyist violin maker, I am quite impressed with the quality of this instrument. The setup and playability were fine from the start. The only change I have made is to substitute Prim steel core G and D strings for better response over the installed Pirastro Violino strings This wasn't really necessary, but just a matter of preference. The violin arrived in good condition and was carefully packed, I wish to thank the people at Fiddlershop for the efficiency they displayed in handling my order. I live in Alberta, Canada--a long way from Florida--and the fiddle arrived here in less than 24 hours! Graham Hansen
Mezzo forte carbon fiber Evo line violin
Well I love the violin it is so light the carbon fiber is really very cool looking and I love that. I’m getting a good sound out of it. Oh I did make a mistake in thinking it was an acoustic electric when in fact it’s an acoustic. That’s OK I am working on electrifying it and playing it and using it as my Amplified acoustic instrument… I am Many Electric Violin‘s. And I get different sounds and use them for different reasons and different performances. Sometimes I just want to violin to sound like a violin and not like all the other sounds I use in processing. I am hoping that electrifying this carbon fiber will fill that need. To be continued LOL
Alaska weather approved
I absolutely love this violin. She rings so beautifully. I can take her to my cabin…with wood stove heat and misty rain outside…she plays like a champ. I have fingerless gloves and dearly love to play for short periods of time in the quiet of the forest snowfall. I am so looking forward to winter with this violin.
I love playing this violin! I am so happy that I took a chance on the Mezzo-Forte Carbon Fiber Evo LIne Violin. It sounds great. It is very light especially when compared to less expensive carbon fiber violins. The chin rest is fine for me and it is easy to play. With the exteme temperatures and weather in this area, I don't have to worry so much about keeping the violin safe. I highly recommend trying it yourself. It is worth the money. Happy in Vermont!
