It is a nice quality starter violin, however, it came with a broken fine tuner. Fiddlershop sent out new fine tuner components but I was expected to reconstruct it from a YouTube video. Not really something I feel comfortable doing for a instrument I purchased brand new. So it was almost right, but not quite.
Everyone at Fiddlershop was wonderful. They helped me when UPS lost my package and sent me another violin. They were great.
I’ve bought the 200 around 3 years ago. I’m a beginner. This violin is a very good beginner violin. I did upgrade to fiddlerman strings and fiddlerman bow. Just the strings make a pleasant difference in the sound. I had inherited my fathers/ grandmothers violin and play it but I still use the 200 on days i need to practice and the weather bad. I use fiddlerman strings and bows on both violins.
My grandson was thrilled to receive his first violin. It seems to be a great value.
Hi. I purchased this for a gift for a 6 year old. Today is her birthday so she will open it today. We will see how it goes!
