Great violin for the price
I’ve had my violin a week now, and I love it, good sound and nice quality for the price, and it stays in tune really well for it being new. I would definitely recommend Cecilio and Fiddlershop to a friend. I am looking forward to purchasing a violin from Fiddlershop in the future. Thanks guys.
Cecilio 200 volin.
I have had my (4/4) Cecilio 200 violin for 1 year now. I absolutely love it, and play it daily. It has a nice sound, stays in tune well, is light and easy to handle, and came with everything I needed. I think the rosewood (boxwood) chinrest and pegs are nice looking. I love the four metal fine tuners, which make it easy to make fine adjustments to keep it perfectly in tune without much effort, and it's nice that it comes with two bows, just in case. I even like the case, which comes with a traditional box inside for the resin and extra bridge, etc, and a zippered pouch on the side for my tuner, a cloth for cleaning it, and so forth. In addition to a carying handle on the side, it also has one at the top, and straps on the back which you can pull out to use to carry it like you would a backpack so you can have your hands free to carry music, or whatever. The instrument has a good price, a good tone, a good weight, is well balanced, so you can play for hours without getting tired, and comes with a case, and everything you need to play it. What's not to love? The only thing I love more than my Cecilio violin is my wife - and if she eventually takes up violin, as I suspect, I'll make sure to get another for her one too.
great violin for the money
I bought this violin for my 10 yr old granddaughter and she so happy to see her new birthday present, she noticed one of the pegs broken off but it didn't take long to get replacement pegs, sounds great for the money.
For our granddaughter
I apologize for taking so long to respond. We purchased this violin as a birthday present for one of our granddaughters who was turning 12 and wanted to learn to play. She lives about 1000 miles from us so we had you ship it direct to her. We have not personally seen the instrument but our granddaughter loves it. Thank you for your quick service and providing a quality instrument for her to learn on. We hoped to see her and her family this coming holiday season.
