After reading the

After reading the reviews, I had decided to buy the violin. It came at around a few days, maybe 5 or so. I was very excited to get my hands on it. Came in a nice cardboard case, safely packaged with some tape. Inside lie the violin case, with a rubber thing outside the handle, with 2 straps.I eagerly opened everything up, I was surprised to find the violin was in perfect condition. Some people have said there were extra strings, but mine didn't come with any, I didn't look much to it as I decided it didn't need new ones.I loved the boxwood fittings on the violin, looks very great. The finish is very glossy though, I dislike it, but for 100 dollars, it was okay. I was glad it came with two bows, both made of Brazilianwood and a mother of pearl lining. The hairs are okay, I have gotten a few that come loose but no biggie. The sound is good, not the best. I've played this for about 13 weeks now, when winter finally hit. Things then went downhill..The pegs became loose, especially on the G and E, I needed to push them in a bit but they'd still become loose from a bit of pushing. Now I suspect it's possibly from the cold weather. I got them all tuned up except for the E, which keeps slipping out of place. The rubber casing on the case handle came off, possibly from me sliding it up and down a lot. I'd rather have it like a hard handle, like most durable triangle shaped violin cases. It was extremely light, easy to carry around as well. Love the color on the inside, isn't very harsh and dark, like a very light crem color. I love the rosin, however the case broke apart. The sides broke off as if it were held in place by sliding it in, and then the rubber like material on the outside that lifted the top ripped, and thus it became useless. I threw it away. Overall not bad of a violin, you get what you pay for after all. Now seeing all the other cheap) violins on the website, maybe I shouldn't have been so anxious and been wiser in my selection. Oh well, maybe next time I'll get enough money to buy a new one, huehue.

I was looking

I was looking for a violin on the internet for a good price. A friend recommended this website to me and I was astonished by the price so I bought it. The violin came in 4 days inside a cardboard box. Inside came a nice black case, inside the case came: the violin, 2 bows, a rosin, and an extra bridge. The violin has a really nice sound, the bows are pretty good, the rosin is good quality. It would've been better if there was a shoulder rest, but thats no biggy, honesty, I would've been happy with the violin and a bow. This is a great beginner violin. 5/5

All I can

All I can is WOW! Granted this is my first violin, but I am more than pleased at the quality of this instrument for the price. The case is very cool. It came with two bows, rosin, and an extra bridge. I've never even played a violin, EVER, and it tuned right up. I tightened up the bow, threw on a lil' rosin, and boom; I'm making notes. My advice for a beginner would be to watch as many of the videos on this site as possible. Learn how to tighten a bow, rosin a bow, and tune the violin so you won't be frustrated. This violin might not be the greatest, but it cannot be beat for the money. Thank you Fiddlerman and staff for making this easy!
