This wasn't as decent as I was hoping for. My son got this and the bow hair was all over the place and tangled. The strings broke already, after I went to test it out for him, and this was really dissapointing.

Instruments like this have a

Instruments like this have a common problem (peg issues). The holes to put the string through are too far to the end. You may need to find a drill with a very small bit and drill another hole in it closer to the middle. After you figure it out, get some new strings from D'addario and a Fiddlerman bow. The old bows will make great kindling... What the problem really is with beginners playing these types of violins is that they are rarely set up right, the bridge is carved and installed backwards etc. and they are a pain to play. Do yourself a favor and get the cheapest Fiddlerman violin, as FiddlerShop will actually set it up for you, ream the pegs, carve the bridge, adjust lengths, etc. to make sure everything is working right. Then you'll actually want to play.\r\n\r\nOtherwise you could make use of it if your going to make a video like this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sf6LD2B_kDQ lol
