Fiddlershop Decorative Sample Violin (No. 169)
This is a full sized violin that we received as a sample. It features ornate carvings on the body and scroll of the instrument, accompanied by boxwood fittings. It has been set up here in our workshop with a new Holstein 1-star bridge and Thomastik Vision strings.
Apart from the beautifully carved artwork, this violin is functionally normal. The sound is quite nice; responsive and resonant, has a focused, brilliant tone, and very easy to play.
