About the maker

Born in 1973, Rumen Spirov is a Bulgarian violin maker from Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. He has been practicing violin making for over 20 years and has earned recognition for his work at violin making competitions throughout Europe. He recently was awarded bronze medal for “the best copy of historical instrument,“ at the International Violin Making Competition Pisogne 2010 in Italy.
