Francesco Pierotti Fine Italian Violin 2022 made in Cesena Italy, Violin No. 26

We are pleased to feature this modern Italian violin maker here at Fiddlershop. Francesco Pierotti is an emerging violin maker living in Cesena Italy. He studied at the Scuola Maestri Liutai e Archettai in Gubbio Italy.

This instrument has a wonderfully powerful, deep and warm tone, with incredibly easy playability.

  • Template: Antonio Stradivari 1690 "Toscano"
  • Fittings: Ebony
  • Strings: Larsen "Il Cannone" Soloist
  • Varnish: Light orange 
  • Back: One piece with narrow grain, larger on the bass side. Uniform flames and rich medullary rays
  • Top plate: Two pieces with narrow grain spruce, larger next to the edges
  • Ribs are made with the same wood as the back
  • Scroll: flames similar to back and ribs, very narrow grain

Length: 358mm

Upper Bout: 170mm

Middle Bout: 113mm

Lower Bout: 210mm
