The "Entertainer" Viola Features
A new addition to the Tower Strings family is the "Entertainer" viola. We have never been happy with what the market had to offer in this price range. And so, the Entertainer is our answer to a starter viola that anyone can afford! The setup, accessories, and quality of build is far above anything we have tested in this price range. The viola will arrive ready to play right out of the box. Check our viola size guide for proper sizing.
- Solid-carved spruce and maple tonewoods
- Durable amber brown finish (no thick lacquer)
- Wood dried a minimum of 24 months
- 100% ebony fingerboard, pegs & fittings
- Carbon composite tailpiece with built-in fine tuners
- Hand-carved Asian wood bridge (Well-rounded bridge which allows easy and comfortable playability)
- Strings - Prelude or other quality steel core string set

Case issues
Instrument itself is perfect and I have been loving. However, I travel with my instruments a lot (I own a fiddlershop violin as well which is still in good condition including the case), so I like that this shop includes straps with the cases. I put the strap on and my first time picking it up, the straps completely broke and the instrument fell to the ground. Luckily the viola itself was not damaged but it sucks to have paid so much for anything in the order to be broken.

I have had this viola for a year now and the instrument is great, but I disappointed when I tried to use the tuner and it would not tune the C string. And I couldn’t find a viola setting on it. The case is also nice but due to the rough use of the pocket on the side the zipper wouldn’t zip all the way and I accidentally broke the zipper pull. All I have to say is that the tuner might be a problem.

Great customer service! I had left a review a couple days ago about my order and how the case was damaged upon arrival. They immediately got back to me and sent me a replacement case. My daughter loves it! Thank you so much! I would absolutely recommend Fiddler Shop. I will definitely be purchasing from them as my daughter upgrades on her instrument or when she wants to learn another type of instrument.

We got this for our daughter's birthday. We received it yesterday and the case was damaged. Everything else inside the case is good. Not sure if they offer a replacement for the case alone.

This is my first time ordering from you all and I was a bit nervous because there are so many scams out there. I order a Viola for my daughter. I wanted to surprise her. She is going to summer camp and the viola we have, we brought it at the thrift store a few years ago. I made a mistake and brought a 16 inch. I was frantically looking for a way to get in contact with you all. I sent an e-mail and to my surprise, I received an email back, correcting my mistake.
