Used Mid-Twentieth Century Antonio Stradivari Copy (No. 125)
This violin is a used 'Strad' copy from the mid-twentieth century. The violin bears an antique-looking "Stradivarius" label: Antonius Stradivarius Cremonefis Faciebat Anno 1771.
Copies of the original label began to be manufactured throughout Europe in the 19th-Century. These labels were usually not intended to be a trick or forgery, but to pay homage to the violinmaker.
We have done some minor restorations, as well as a new setup, to give this violin a new life.
