I have several violin cases, some fancy wood ones--those are nice, very well built, but very heavy. I recently got the Endeavor case and like it a lot. It's very light and the difference is very noticeable when carrying it, compared to the heavy wood cases. I don't usually need a fancy wood case, nor a built in hygrometer, etc. for the places locally I go where I carry my violin. I'll be using the Endeavor case now, for those times. In fact I used it yesterday and enjoyed the ease of carrying it! And it's a full-size case, and my shoulder rest fits in the interior pocket just fine--that's always been a concern for any case I've bought in the past. If you don't need a really rugged wood case, I would definitely recommend this one.
