I’m a beginner, but this bow made me sound much better than my old one.
Carbon fiber bow
I have used the carbon fiber violin bow for a couple of weeks now and I really like it. I would recommend it Thanks
Great bow for a beginner like me!!!!
These bows, I have two of them and they play great! I personally been using Sartory rosin for them but they sound great with holstein rosin also. I also bought a Holstein yellow sandalwood bow and it sounds great also just really depends on my mood, if my cousin gets better then I will give them one of the carbon fiber bows since this crew helped me when I needed to get my start, but really excellent bow.......
Makes me sound better!
The adult learners group I am in recommended this bow to me as I am a bit of a clutz and I was worried about breaking a wooden bow being a total noob and self learner. I love how strong it is but an added bonus is it made me sound REALLY good compared to the bow that came with my violin. An unexpected and fantastic surprise. :) On day three of playing ever, I can get great intonation and rich sound when using this bow (and not so much on the wooden bow so its not just me). Highly recommend it to beginners as it will make playing more enjoyable and IMO easier.
Frog seems hard, fingers start hurting
The bow is good weight and sound but my fingers on the frog start hurting at a certain point in a way they didn't with my old bow, i think because of the material of the frog. I have been very careful to make i am not gripping too hard Not enough of an issue to return but i do notice it. Was thinking of putting some type of cushioning there but don't want to change weight or balance. Hoping to just get used to it. Otherwise a good bow.
