Lovely Instrument, happy customers for life

It was a surprise birthday gift to my wife. Tears of joy ensued upon opening and she just loves her beautiful new Master violin. Superb personalized customer service, follow through and swift shipping combined with extraordinary value is what you get with the Fiddlershop.

Amazing sounding instrument

I spent a couple of weeks watching reviews of the Fiddlerman violins and I decided to go with the Fiddlerman Master since it sounded really beautiful and matched my budget. The customer service was amazing, they went above and beyond and sent me a second video since I couldn't decide which violin I liked the most and they made sure I was satisfied with my purchase. When I received the violin it was really beautiful and the harmonics sounded quite brilliant and resonant, it seriously impressed me. The instrument has opened a lot since then and I am enjoying a lot its sound. The violin is very comfortable to play and it's easy to tune. I love the accessories as well. It makes me want to practice more each day! When I decide to upgrade again I will make sure to go with Fiddlerman! :D Thanks so much!

Customer Service

The Fiddlerman master violin was great! Plus it came with a bunch of necessary items, like a shoulder rest, a bow, and a case. Which were all good quality. The costumer service was amazing. They try to get you what you want with a VERY reasonable price.

Adding 5 stars to the chorus!

I am simply thrilled with this wonderful instrument. I like darker almost "viola" sound for my violins and I chose the "Master" over the "Soloist" from the available videos for that reason. I am not disappointed to say the least! I chose an Holdstein Pernambuco 2-stars upgrade a bit by chance. I prefer bows on the heavy side. It is not heavy per se, but it is "solid" enough. So I am happy with that too. I am going back to violin after a 20+ years brake. Harmonics are a breeze! This violin is really easy to play. I am really enjoying myself. I can see me buying either the Soloist or one of the "Ming Jang Zhu 909" as soon as I am back in the saddle... Thank you to the wonderful violin makers and to the fiddlerman team!

Great first violin!

Well this was actually my second violin. I rented a cheap violin from Griggs music in Daveport, Ia, who I hear have a world renowned luthier. The sound from the Master violin was a major leap forward in quality, with a much richer tone. The neck is a little bit thicker and the action a little higher (especially on the g string) than the violin I rented, but I'm not sure which one is "correct" having only been playing for 9 months. I did get a bow that I think sounds better than the one it comes with, a Dorfler pernambuco that cost $250. The Dorfler bow is heavier and gives a fuller sound. I'm very happy with the sound of the Master violin with the Dorfler bow. Violin came with Kaplan Amo's also, which are over $80 and will probably stick with them. This is a very good violin for the money. When I got the violin I played it quite a lot for about 5 to 7 days then went to some local shops to try out some other violins in the $1500ish range and even took one I liked home to try out ( a Krutz 400 I believe it was. I liked the Master the best though. I play a lot of instruments and write and record my own material. I'm just now getting decent enough sounding to record and violin sounds very good on tape. Two thumbs up!
