A big step up from cheap beginner bows

My son is very happy with the bow, which is a big step up from the cheap beginner bows he was using before. Also, carbon fiber is probably a good choice for a middle schooler to carry around - he broke his first wooden bow. I was very satisfied with every aspect of this transaction with Fiddlershop.

I'd been using

I'd been using the cheap outfit bows for a few years. Upon receiving it I was impressed with the way it handles and the great tone I can get now. Its a great bow and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a quality bow

This is a

This is a decent bow i've recently tried a few codabows, prestos, and jonpauls) and my opinion is that this one is basically no different than the fiddlerman bow though $100 more expensive). Just like the FM CF bow, it is stiff, powerful, and well made, but I find it harder to play sweetly or romantically. The presto ovation, however is noticeably better, lighter, and produces a nicer tone.Codas prodigy and diamond NX) were a bit of a disappointment for me, they seemed kind of difficult to handle. My favorite I think is the JonPaul so far i've only tried the Bravo), I love the round shape, light weight, easy playability, and sweet tone that it has.
