About Klaus Heffler
This is a beaut!! Gorgeous sound, terrific resonance! Wow! Response amazing. Even beautiful to look at. However, playing is better. I highly recommend the Heffler violins. No disappointment here. Service was ABOVE BOARD!!! Amazing people! O’Gibbles was OUTSTANDING in helping me decide which violin to purchase. FIRST CLASS COMPANY TO DEAL WITH! LOVE the violin and love the people at Fiddlershop.
My La Passione is an absolutely GORGEOUS violin. Mine is a stunning rich caramel colour. The back and sides are uniquely striped which I love. The ebony finishes are a perfect match. The sound I would describe as mellow-bright. The G string is rich, the D has perfect clarity and resonance, A is balanced and E is bright in a happy way. I have only had this violin a few weeks but it is divine and highly recommend it at this price range. The Fiddlershop team used PI strings - doing my research this is a really good match. If you want brighter sound (which I may try sometime) the Eva Greens may work to bring that sound out. But no need to switch the PI as I think they are great for bringing a smooth sound I am a beginner/intermediate level and this will be a fantastic option to see me grow. I bought it online without trying first and have only great things to say about the violin. The Fiddlershop team were great, from the online messaging (very prompt), the video done to compare the violins and all the packaging to keep it safe for the prompt delivery - everything has been magnificent. I want to buy another one! ;)
