I purchased an
I purchased an August Kohr HC-602 violin and wanted a very good case for my treasured instrument. I learned about the cc-575 case on Fiddlershop and purchased one of these cases for my violin. The case is wonderful! It features sturdy wood construction and a lot of rich internal quilted padding. The case has an outside covering that zippers a full length music storage area. The case has rain flaps that have magnetic fasteners, a real leather carrying handle and a key locking latch. When you open the case it is richly appointed with lots of padding and a quilted instrument bed. There is room for 4 bows with locking bow holders. There is a string tube for storing extra strings and a digital hygrometer. There is also a bottle type humidifier attached to the lid of this case. My case featured a blue interior with silver gray cord accents around the inside cover. There is a large end compartment which is used to store my everest shoulder rest and two side compartments which i store wipe cloths. There is plenty of room for an electronic tuner if you use one. If that is not enough, there is a silk backed instrument blanket to lay over your instrument when you put the instrument to bed in it's quilted instrument bed. There are metal feet on the outside for a horizontal or upright position. D-rings are also on the outside of the case for use with the included shoulder strap. I would highly recommend this case for the ultimate protection of your treasured instrument!
