What does B-stock mean?
Every now and then we receive an instrument from our workshop with a visual imperfection. The instrument might have a small nick, scratch or a miss-coloration in the varnish. These visual issues do not affect the performance or playability of the instrument. However, we would never put these instruments into our regular inventory.
Just like every other Fiddlerman instrument we sell, this instrument is set up to perfection by our talented luthiers and is covered by our lifetime structural warranty.
We have a limited stock of these instruments. Every instrument has a different imperfection. Please find attached pictures for examples of these visual flaws.

Buying from Fiddlerman was super easy, and even though the violin was "only" an $800 violin, the setup and luthier expertise that went in to insuring the violin was correctly done made a world of difference compared to buying a violin of the same price anywhere else. This instrument compares favorable to those costing much more!
The Fiddlerman team was friendly and helpful all the way. We received our Master violin intact in a safely wrapped package via DHL international delivery, which played beautifully. Even though there was a small issue with the A string (after playing, the string appeared stretched) and after reaching out to the Fiddlerman team, they promptly despatched a Complimentary replacement A string to us! We are still waiting for the A string to reach us but so far, we are Very happy with our purchase!
This instrument has soul and it wants to sing loud. I noticed the big difference from my Bellafina ML10 on how easy it felt on my left hand. It sings loud through the entire range. It requires a light touch for more somber music. The neck is smooth on the thumb and light touch to get right pitch. The set up feels perfect to me. The flaws on the finish are not things that anyone should notice unless purposefully looking for them especially since they are on the back. I may have a crush on my instrument
A wonderful instrument with beautiful tone and stunning appearance which met the needs of my advancing high school student and pleased both her private teacher and orchestra director. The tiny varnish blemish on the back is barely noticeable and doesn't affect the sound at all. The Fiddershop customer service team was very helpful in answering questions and sharing accurate information. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this item again!
