At the beginning, I was

At the beginning, I was really happy for this pickup: It took a while to arrive to Mexico and, most importantly, it had the solution I wanted for playing in my rock band with my friends. I even took a video the first day it arrived so I could share it with my friends of facebook (and it was quite a success, I must say. Likes were raining on that vid, he~)\r\n\r\nHere's the video on youtube: http://youtu.be/ODHcazdSuds\r\n\r\nUnfortunately, after some weeks of non-heavy use (I used it seldom when I rehearse with my aforementioned band), the quality of the sound became quite bad. Nowadays, it doesn't "catch" at all the notes of the strings and when it does, there's a lot of static and interference within it D: I mean, if you do a scale [let's say, C major] the pickup will only register some notes [C - X - E - F - X - X - A - B - c] and it seems to have an issue with certain notes.\r\n \r\nI don't know if the item per se had a factory problem, for it worked pretty well for its price at the beginning, but nowadays it is a fact that the pick-up doesn't work as expected in the video. Perhaps some internal stuff got out of placed or something, because it is really bizarre the fact that ex nihilo it stopped working as it should.\r\n\r\nFiddlerman, I would suggest you to check your products before mailing them in order to avoid these kind of troubles. Or, well, maybe you did so but the company that produces this pick-up has a low quality-standard.\r\n\r\nAt the end, I am not happy at all with this purchase.\r\n\r\nP.s: The sticky tac indeed is sticky, but it leaves some sticky substance on the surface of the violin D: Not an actual piece of the yellow tac, but a stain that reflects light. I don't know how to clean it though, so I left it there...
