Fiddlerman Violin String Set Review

ViolinStringReview.com reviewed the string set!

These Synthetic core violin strings are of medium tension, optimized for most players! Each string is individually packed and sealed to protect from corrosion.

When compared to the world's most popular strings (Thomastik Dominant), none of our professionals could tell them apart. Just like the Dominant strings, they are warm and resemble gut strings (while being way more resistant to humidity). They are soft, clear, and rich in overtones. But the best part, they're half the price of Dominants!

Fantastic Fiddlerman Strings!

I have been using Fiddlerman strings for about 7 months now, and they are wonderful. I like the way they feel under my fingers, I like their smooth clarity and their volume, and they are very responsive. I play Celtic and Old Time fiddle and would highly recommend them over Dominants, Helicore, or Tonicas. They stabilize quickly and stay in tune for long hours (I actually practice 2-4 hours a day). The price is very reasonable and they sound beautiful, especially for Old Time waltzes. The E string is so much sweeter than the harsher sounding Dominant E.

Really nice

I have a Scott Cao 750ES that I had Tzigane strings on. I replaced the with a set of Fiddlerman they sent me as a gift with something I bought. They are really really nice. I can't compare to dominants, since I haven't used them in a while (I was never really a fan) but I can say they are louder than the Larsens and they bring a lot of complexity with them. There are harmonics all over the place, specially on the open string notes. They really help with tuning. The strings were almost immediately stable in tune and took 1-2 days to open up. I'm really happy with them.

Fiddlerman String Set

I replaced Tonicas with Fiddlerman strings and really like the result. My G string is noticeably clearer in the higher positions. I plan to order another set for my other violin.

Strings review

The Fiddlerman brandes' stri gs from the Fiddlershop' came promptly. They played in well over a week or so and sound good. Our group instructor, who sells and rents violins etc tried them out and liked them as well. Send me a set for her and you may get a wholesale customer. Terry.

Excellent Strings

I bought these strings from a third party and the quilty of these strings are amazing. They are very durable and great for practice. And they're a great upgrade to the standard stings that comes with a new violin. They have a nice warm tone to them that works well with my violin and bow. I have a nice classic bow from the 1920 and the fiddler man carbon fiber bow. I would suggest getting both the Carbon fiber bow and stings at the same time. Cause they work great together.
