I cannot speak highly enough about this place. They really made me feel like a priority customer. They worked hard during a busy holiday season to make sure I could gift my husband a great violin on time. He loves his new violin and I am happy with the purchasing experience. Win win. Highly recommend.
Alright, I pulled the trigger on a Fiddlerman violin purchase to replace my Mendini CV-300. I have been playing for a little over a year and the CV was just not cutting it. I got my Apprentice Outfit this afternoon, and just got finished practicing. Wow Just Wow. Night and day. This was the best I have ever sounded. Playing this compared to the CV is comparing a Ferrari to a rusted Ford pickup. So smooth. The violin itself is beautiful. The set up only required small adjustments to get into tune. The case and all the accessories and wonderful. I had already purchased a Fiddleman carbon fiber bow, so now I have two. Highly satisfied with this purchase. Thank you to everyone who had a hand in it. You can bet that in a few years if I feel I need to upgrade again, it will be though Fiddlerman.
WOW!!! What a deal!
I'm gonna be real here... This violin exceeded any expectancy level that I had. I'm not really a violinist, I start "fiddle" lessons tomorrow. I can play a few melodies by ear, that is all at the moment. However, I worked in a family music business for 10 years, had my own store, and own many fine instruments by Martin, Taylor, and more. I do play guitar, bass, and drums. I honestly figured that I would be sending this one back for a higher model after I got to see it in person. That is not the case. I have an old fiddle that I need to get some repair work, and this purchase is to be my practice and lesson fiddle. Well, when I looked at the quality of the woods, I was really amazed that it was that nice of wood choices. I expected near nothing as far as flaming on the back, and I was surprised to see good flame on the back and the sides. It's a beautiful instrument, for sure. Had to tune a couple of strings, and got to play it and it sounded great. I really like the Fiddlerman Strings. They actually sound better than the Dominants that I have used on my old violin. My old instrument does well with the Superflexible for a warmer tone... But, I'd be willing to try the Fiddlerman strings for the price savings. I feel they'd be fine. With the case, accessories, and setup... This outfit is OUT OF SIGHT! I feel bad about all of the outfits I sold back in the day. We just didn't know how to set one up like that, and it makes a HUGE difference. I am in awe of the setup, alone. If you are starting, or re-starting, as is my case. This is a definitely great option for you. This price is unbelievable for the value that you receive. Shipping was very fast, too. Worth every penny I paid, and probably more.
Beginning quality violin properly and completely set up ( unlike one I purchased from another company several years ago) and is being thoroughly enjoyed and used by 7 year old. I have high hopes to find it necessary to purchase a better quality one as he grows and progresses. Came more quickly than I expected.
This is one fantastic place to buy a violin! They make learning a new instrument a delight. I was so pleased with the packaging, delivery, and the overall quality of the instrument. The violin is as beautiful as it sounds! The case is very sturdy and all the accessories are a great added bonus. Thank you so much Fiddlershop!
