Holstein Soil Stradivarius Violin

The Soil Stradivarius violin was originally made in 1714 by Antonio Stradivari. It was considered one of his finest violins ever made. It was owned by Amédée Soil, and was named after him. It was thereafter aquired by Yehudi Menuhin and he played it from 1950 to 1986. It was then purchased by Itzhak Perlman who used this violin to record the "Cinema Serenade" soundtrack in 1997. Violins in this price range are typically made in  larger assembly lines to reduce cost. Our workshop models however, are crafted entirely by the master luthier and a highely skilled assistant luthier.
